Naturally I Want The Aliens To Win, Naturally

BC Note: I would like to thank Ben for this...

Synopsis: Jonah has just finished a national booksigning tour. He is promoting his latest book, Aliens Don’t Make Crop Circles. It completely debunks the very existence of aliens and is climbing the bestseller list. Jonah is an outspoken and well known authority on the subject. A veteran journalist ofAfghanistan, Iraq, Northern Ireland, Sudan and many other hot-spots, Jonah finds he is handed his toughest assignment yet: To find out, if they are not alien space travellers, what they really are? He flies to Scotland to collaborate with Hannah, another writer, but she approaches the assignment from a totally different perspective. Naturally they don’t see eye-to-eye. Naturally their working relationship is hostile and acrimonious, and their private one no better. Naturally they fall in love. While there, Jonah is abducted but he has no memory of the event. Even when he discovers photographs of himself, on his own camera, undergoing an “examination” by little bog-eyed men, he still asks a friend of his in the NSA, Jack, to prove they are fakes. But they are not.The pictures are the aliens’ calling card, their first introduction to the man who must help them save their world. Jonah and Hannah are given the task ofconvincing the world of two things. 1) Aliens are not really hostile aliens at all, they are merely human time travellers from a doomed future world. 2) That the only way to save the dying Earth of the future is to pack all of the best brains of today, into an Arkship, and port them forward in time to help. With the prospect of a new technology ‘gold-rush’, on the return trip, the leaders of the world take little convincing. Soon many thousands of the world’s elite scientists are assembled, in a tent city, waiting for their appointment with destiny. But Jonah has doubts, something is not right. It’s all just too easy.Together, with Hannah, they eventually work out the“scam”. With time running out until launch, they haveto prevent the seemingly peaceful aliens from poaching the greatest minds on the planet. But the juggernaught they themselves had set in motion has too much momentum, it cannot be stopped. All he can do now is try and save his friend.

I wish to submit my screenplay The Agent.

Alice Jones pulls every kind of scam in the book as an agent, from employment agent, to literary agent, to Hollywood agent. Just as she starts to become legit, her past catches up with her. Her scams take her from New York and Los Angeles.

The Agent is a comedy. It is inspired by real news accounts of various con artists posing as literary agents (particularly [xxxxx]). The market for the agent would be audiences from ages 14-50. The Agent is about a twisted woman determined to succeed at all costs.

Big Pens Lead To Love?

BlackCapricorn Note: I would like to thank Matt for this...

Dear Sirs,

I'm a Polish writer and a scenarist. I wrote 30 books. Afterwards I wrote the screenplay of feature film "xxxxxxxxx" which is in the course of production and the script "On the strings of passion", which is based on actual events from our life.

My husband, [BC Note: Something VERY Polish] - constructor of many strange objects - is the only Polish who has establish four Guinness records. His record is among other things the biggest fountain pen in the world. Thanks to this pen we met us 14 years ago. In my script you can find the most interesting moments of our life, particularly the story of my husband's strange records and problems with our autistic son.

The whole story is complemented with various commentaries in form of our aphorisms and maxims. My script ends is the attempt of breaking through our son's illness. My husband's idea has made that our son (six years old) started talking.

Can I send you my script?

Its Long But Too "Good" To Edit-- I Think Bumpy Is Pandawampus

Al Capone may have ruled Chicago. Lucky Luciano may have run most of New York City. But from the 1930s to the late 1960s, when it came to Harlem, the undisputed king of the underworld was Bumpy Johnson.

He was called an old-fashioned gentleman. He was called a pimp. A philanthropist and a thief. A scholar and a thug. A man who admonished children to stay in school, and a man who some say introduced heroin into Harlem.

Bumpy was a man whose contradictions are still the root of many an argument in Harlem. But there is one thing on which both his supporters and detractors agree – in his lifetime, Ellsworth “Bumpy” Johnson was “the man” in Harlem. People best remember him as the hot youngblood who fought to keep the notorious and murderous Dutch Schultz from taking over the Harlem numbers racket. In reality he was so much more.

If you wanted to do anything in Harlem, anything at all, you’d better stop and see Bumpy because he ran the place. Want to open a number spot on the Avenue? Go see Bumpy. Thinking about converting your brownstone into a speakeasy? Check with Bumpy first.

The police knew it – they came to him to negotiate peace between young street gangs. The politicians knew it – they counted on him to deliver votes on Election Day. Even the Italian and Jewish syndicate knew it, although they had to find out the hard way. When they decided to move on the Harlem numbers racket, Bumpy, only 25, at the time, sprang into action. With only a handful of loyal men behind him, Bumpy waged a successful guerilla war, forcing the white mobsters to finally come to terms with “that crazy nigger.” Even Lucky Luciano, the head of the organized crime in New York City, publicly gave Bumpy his due – Black Harlem only recognized one crime boss, and that was Bumpy Johnson.

Bumpy was willing to use his fists and his guns to get what he wanted, but he was just as willing to use his money to help Harlemites in need. Oh, how Harlem loved him. To this day – thirty years after his death – people there still sing his praises. He went out of his way to help whomever he could, in whatever manner he could.

Each year he threw a huge Christmas party for the children in Harlem, and gave away thousands of dollars worth of presents to kids who would otherwise have none.

If he saw a family’s furniture being moved out in the street because they couldn’t pay the landlord –not an uncommon sight in Depression-era Harlem – he would reach into his pocket and peel off a few large bills from the huge wad he carried, and hand it to the evictors to pay off the back rent.

Yes, Bumpy may have been a criminal, but he was a criminal with a social conscience. In this community that felt exploited and abused by both the government and the white criminal element, Bumpy was an underworld leader who took from the people, but at least gave something back. He may have been a gangster, but he was Harlem’s gangster.
“He chose his course, and he followed it with his eyes open,” said the minister that eulogized him in 1968. “In a world filled with social contamination and double-talk, maybe there was no other way to be a man.”

Since I was born and raised in Harlem, I of course knew of Bumpy all my life. Everyone in Harlem did. But it wasn’t until 1994, while watching an episode of “Unsolved Mysteries” about the only successful escape from Alcatraz Penitentiary, did I realize that I really knew Bumpy Johnson. Up close and personal. They showed a mug shot of Bumpy, and that’s when I found out that “nice Mr. Johnson,” who gave my mother money to help buy her children back-to-school clothes was the same man that U. S. District Attorney Robert Morganthau once called “the most dangerous man in New York City.”

I Will Never Shop At H&M Again

Enclosed in this very large envelope are The Whispering Monkey, and me. TWM is a chilling account narrated by a precocious monkey, who, residing in a cage at the Bronx Zoo, decides to counsel his caretaker, a zoo-keeping divorcée, who finds herself hanging on every one of his astute words, at which point suspense, romance, and murder ensue. In a voice at once playful and somber, TWM is a tale that is both haunting and full of hope.

As for me: You'll see I'm wearing a white Fruit of the Loom T-shirt ensconced in a gray sports jacket on which white pinstripes have been stitched ever so gracefully by workers in Thailand whose garment factory, according to the label, manufactures for H & M. Lastly, due to certain postal restrictions, going barefoot was necessary.

Thanks in advance for taking a look at the both of us.

Way Too Many O’s

With your approval I would like to submit the screenplay Orishas of Oyo. Orishas of Oyo are the stories of three warrior goddesses who fight demons and other enemies in order to protect all existence! The goddesses are the warrior woman Oya, the seductive goddess of love Oshun, and the maternal sorceress Yemaya!

Orishas of Oyo should do well among audiences that like mythological based shows. Over the years, a variety of animated and live action projects have been based on the gods. It's based on a Nigerian(West African) religion that has a lot of adherents in Latin America, and the Caribbean.
